Statement at the 69th Ordinary Session of the Council of Ministers

"This 69th Ordinary Session of Council is expected to be mainly devoted to the consideration of financial, budgetary and administrative matters, as well as to socio-economic issues of concern to the Organization. Nonetheless, given the fact that this session is being held against the background of a disturbing proliferation of conflicts in the Continent, I believe that Council would wish to address at least some of them as it deliberates on the various items included in its agenda." - Dr. Salim, March 22, 1999
