As President of the 34th session of the UN General Assembly, Dr. Salim gave a lecture at the University of Vienna on May 13, 1980. He was invited by the Secretary-General of the Austrian United Nations Association. Dr. Salim was in Vienna from May 13-17 to participate in the ceremonies marking the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Austrian State Treaty.
