Statement at the All-Africa Conference on African Principles of Conflict Resolution and Reconciliation

"The issue of peace is indeed of primary importance for the Organization of African Unity. Throughout its history. African leaders have endeavored to seek for ways and means of ensuring that the African continent eliminates the conditions that provoke the occurrence of tensions and their explosion into conflicts.
