In March 18, 1995 President Nelson Mandela received the Africa Peace Award. The event was presented in Durban and Dr. Salim had the honor of presenting the award to President Mandela. The event was jointly sponsored by the African Centre for the Constructive Resolution of Disputes (ACCORD) and the OAU.
