Addressing the 6th Summit Conference of the OIC
On December 9, 1991 Dr. Salim addressed the Organization of the Islamic Conference (now known as the Organization of Islamic Cooperation). He addressed a few areas of mutual concern between the OAU and the OIC, namely the Middle East Conflict (specifically rights of the Palestinian people); Somalia and the broader conflict in the Horn of Africa and South Africa.
