On November 10, 1972 Dr. Salim was invited to speak at the City College of New York as part of the Ralph J. Bunch Memorial Lecture Series. He provided an overview of the UN and Decolonization through the prism of his experiences and position as Chairman of the Committee of 24 (the Special Committee on Decolonisation).
