Last Respects to President Ho Chi Minh

"To President Ho Chi Minh, great leader of the Vietnamese people and close friend to the Tanzanian people." Dr. Salim attended the funeral of the President on September 9, 1969 along with 1 million people who were in the capital for the occasion. The Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Nguyen Duy Trinh came to see Dr. Salim at the hotel that evening.
