Reverend Jesse Jackson Endorses Dr. Salim's Candidature for UN Secretary General

The Civil Rights Leader and National President of Operation PUSH announced his support for Dr. Salim in the race for the post of UN Secretary General. 

"In the next few days, the United States will have a unique opportunity to demonstrate to the world its concern and support for human rights, peace, and shared power and responsibility by joining the vast majority of the members in the United Nations in selecting and electing Ambassador Salim as the new Secretary-General of that organisation. Operation PUSH and the human rights community urge the United States Delegation to the UN to support the candidacy of Ambassador Salim."
