100 Years of Tanzania Scouts Association

Dr. Salim was a member of the Board of Trustees of the Tanzania Scouts Association, along with former President Ali Hassan Mwinyi and Bishop Nestory Timanywa. In July 2017 Dr. Salim had the distinct honor of receiving a special recognition towards his contribution to the Tanzania Scouts Association by then Vice President, and now President, Samia Suluhu Hassan. Dr. Salim was a member of the Scouts Association since he was in secondary school
